At Sportiqe, we take our responsibility to the planet seriously. We strive every day to be better stewards and caretakers of this amazing place that we like to roam, all while continuously committing to providing you with comfort to enjoy all that Planet Earth has to offer. This is a journey, and we still have miles to go. Here are some ways that we are working to be better citizens of the planet:

DOING GOOD

1. Production

Our Apparel Factory has partnered with SEDEX, the globally-recognized gold standard for helping companies create more socially and environmentally sustainable businesses and supply chains. The factory is also a member of amfori BCSI, an industry-driven movement that aims to monitor and improve workplace standards across the global supply chain.

Our Headwear Factory meets or exceeds all major ethical, sustainability and fair trade certification requirements.

Our Arizona-based production facility applies leading-edge technology for maximum efficiency. Notably, this has included investing in and implementing Eco-Tex™, which automates and simplifies the entire screen-cleaning process. Eco-Tex greatly reduces environmental impact by recirculating and keeping the use of screen-cleaning chemicals to a bare minimum.

APPLIQUE

More than 95% of the core materials used in our heat transfer appliques are made from recycled fabrics and can be recycled, repurposed and re-used. Threads are made from recycled materials and the adhesives are fully recyclable.

2. Our Products

Sportiqe is committed to integrating sustainable materials and fabrics into our styles without sacrificing the level of comfort and quality that our partners and consumers expect from us. Additionally, Sportiqe makes great efforts to verify that our cotton is responsibly sourced. This means that we take into account environmental, social, economic and ethical factors to create a responsible product from seed to shelf to sale.

Multiple Sportiqe styles incorporate 100% Recycled Polyester Fleece fabric and 100% cotton, which is biodegradeable. New in 2023, several Sportiqe styles feature 100% Recycled Polyester, which is featured both as an outer, water-resistant shell and also in the insulation.

Sportiqe strives to help others and improve the lives of people all over the world. We believe that part of being a successful business is also being a responsible global citizen and providing help to those who are struggling, less fortunate or who face significant challenges.
